Water collecting in boot behind rear light (passenger side)

I have to annually soak up a nice puddle of water behind the foam trim by the rear passenger side light.

I cant tell if it comes through the vent or from the boot lid. Anyone get this one?

the rear light cluster? i havnt, i will spray some water over it and what happens.

Isn't there also a pair of plastic vents hiding behind the bumper?
"Sealed" with VAG's sh1tty foam tape?
Never got round to attacking mine with butyl mastic.
So I get the odd damp occurrence in the boot.
