water leaking into passenger footwell

Hi there - I'm new - seems like a great forum here.

We have a Leon - about two years old. Water (rain water I think) is somehow leaking into the passenger footwell on occasions.

We've taken it back to Seat four times to fix this and each time they haven't.

Any idea what would be wrong?

Cheers!

I have had the same problem. The first time I took it over the dealer they said it was the polen filter. Which they did fix and there wasn't that much water coming through.
About two weeks ago it raind for a couple of days and there was a bit of water in it again. Not as much as last time which indicated that the polen filter was at fault as well. On friday I took it back to the dealer again and they sayd that it could also be the door seals. Which it was in the end!! So now I am waiting for my car to be fixed while I drive around in a Ford Fusion 2  1.4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as a courtesy car!!
I hope this helps!!!

Have recently fixed the same problem. Had water in the rear footwell and running over the front passengers door sill.

Its caused by the seals around the metal plate behind the door cards. About 2hrs job to sort with the right tools.

Had my front and rear seals fixed 2 weeks ago at £220, did the trick though.
