So, Only had my car for a week, a 2019 Leon cupra 300 estate, we had heavy rain last night and the passenger footwell is wet, appears to be coming in just above the bonnet release, any ideas!????
cheers in advance!

Do you have a sunnroof? Use the search function at the top of the forum page as all the possibilities for leaking footwells have been raised before.

Hi, Yes, the car has a sunroof, I did do a search and there were a lot of threads regarding sunroof drains, also had a look on Youtube, it seems to be a common issue.... I will have a go at clearing them when it stops raining! thank you for your reply.

Well, An update, I braved the shite weather and discovered that the passenger side sunroof drain was blocked, when I removed the little red disc from the end of the drain water gushed out, fingers crossed this fixes the leak!

It might be an idea, to stop future problems, if the leak is cured, to dry the electrics out that are situated behind the panel where the bonnet release is located.

I did think about doing that.
Am I right in thinking that the panel just pops off?

If you have your car serviced with SEAT, they would add a panroof service every 2 years. I've not got one, but have read they change alot extra for this!

The car has got a full SEAT service history, and In true dealer style, they clearly hadn't carried out the Panroof service....surprise surprise!
I'll do it myself from now on, at least I know it'll be done properly!
