Water on kickplate mk1 cupra

hi all,

got a slight prob,

everytime i wash the car (mk1 leon cupra) or if it rains
on the drivers side, water gather's on the kick plate between the door and doesn't run out until door opened.

All other doors are unaffected & its doesnt happen on them only driver's side!!!

Any clues/ideas or tips???

Same on mine but more passenger side than drivers!

Guys, see this thread..... I came across it today having got a similar problem which has got to the point where my footwell is soaked!

Have fixed mine today...... this is an excellent guide, top marks to the bloke who wrote it!

yeah this is an easy one to fix, i have 2 LCR & both have had leaks on various doors - it means the seal has deteriorated & this is where the water is getting in. i followed the instructions on this link & none of my doors leak now!
