I am having a strange noise with my 245 HP Hybrid Formentor. The dealer cannot find the fault either. Does anyone happen to have experience with this noise? It almost always happens when you are braking.
I had that same noise with my 204 hybrid past week but like only three times, sounded like a police horn through my music. Never heard it since. Might be something with the regen process if it isnt the brakes??
I've got the Leon hybrid and I occasionally get this noise when accelerating and the car jumps from E to ICE. I presumed it was some sort of dyno or the e motor engaging disengaging.
The noise is indeed more pronounced when the engine is cold. Unfortunately, my car dealer did not find the cause and referred it to a DSG specialist. They concluded that the dual clutch plate in the transmission was generating the noise, and they repaired/revised it. I have been without my car for almost 2 months in total, but the noise has completely disappeared. This was an issue that had never occurred before for the DSG specialist, the car dealer, and CUPRA itself.
These repairs have helped me, and I hope they can help you too. They first listened to my car with equipment and noticed that the issue occurred in third gear. Ultimately, the problem was with the clutch plates in the transmission. I also requested a diagnostic report; if I receive it, I will share it with you.

This is very interesting information.
I had reported it during the first service but the engine was hot.
During the next service, I will ask them to check this point with the engine cold.
In electric mode, the noise does not appear.
The car has 14000KM but I would not want it to get worse over time.
