I was lucky last winter, but now the floor in my drivers footwell is completely sodden and soaked through. :(

Going to have to pay someone to do them as I don't have the time/patience with the car to do it at the moment as I'm too busy at Uni...

Can anyone recommend/do it for some cash in/near Southampton? Getting tired of spending money on silly things on this car!

Cheers

You could try the pollen filter yourself to see if it's seated correctly...if that's okay pay out to have someone look over it

I'm a single woman and I managed it on my own! The only problem I had was balancing the doorcard with one knee while I disconnected the wiring - and pop the doorlight out first ;)

If the carpet is as soaking as the OP says, he'd be better to take the interior out and get the carpet out, the amount of water that'll be sitting in the sound proofing (if it's soaking through the carpet) will be a fair bit.

And it'll NEVER dry out properly, despite replacing the door seals.

Very true...

I looked through the guide. I have a bit of water on the door sill and footwell(when its rained) on the drivers side and there is a slight tear on the seal (the one on the car, not the door) is there a fix or is it a new seal

Best to replace the seal & see if this fix's the leak,a good second hand might do the trick
