mine is an energizer cr2032

My key is a non-flip standard 2-button key and takes a single CR2032. It begins to look as though there are two types, and you have to take your key apart to find out which. 2xCR2016 will give 6V, one CR3032 3V but more energy capacity (longer between changes), so you have to replace like with like.

they are easy to take apart, just slide it apart with a small screw driver and then pull the bottom piece apart, if anything less than 3v's will require replacing
