For the standrd lcr brembo caliper? I'm quickly running out of pennies so nothing silly money.

plain ebc discs from bill at badger 5 if your looking for the cheaper option. 2 piece 330mm discs from badger 5 if you are feeling minted! :)

Ive gone for the standard ebc discs and ferrodo ds pads. If there is a difference between ebc and brembo its barely noticeable from having mine fitted 3 weeks ago - and as above would recommend Badger 5. Std discs are about £240 a pair and i think thats ex vat EBC ones are less than half that meaning i could get the ferodo ds 2500 pads which are great for less than the brembo discs.

I haven't had first hand experience of EBC so can't comment with any authority, just information I've read mentioning EBC disks warping quite easily. I think I'll be going 2-piece discs when my brembos wear down...

HaHa, didn't take long.

For the best braking on a budget I would recommend the EBC plain discs, get these eliptically grooved by Bill (Badger 5) and DS2500 pads

CRN ON EBAY. I shopped around and nobody could bear their prices. went for the ds2500 and grooved.

dont get ripped off, CRN Were alot cheaper. I had fronts and rears discs and ds2500 pads all round. Grooved discs, £350, Which when i broke the price down was cheap. And obviously will be cheaper for just the fronts plain. If you arnt too bothered about pads you can go for a much cheaper option of mintex, textar, pagid, for around £ 30 local motor factors.

mines got 330mm (not 323) ebc grooved on, there warped needless to say. I've been on to crn today, cant believe how cheap they are. Brembo front and rear drilled discs £200. They also look awesome which is never a bad thing!

crn use ebc discs... drilled discs are known to crack.
just my 2 cent

These are brembo, there still in the box. Yeah crn did say something about them cracking but not for a good 18mnth or so

How you managing to run 330mm discs?
Do you have a spacer in there?

i'll be honest i dont. I only bought the car 3 wks ago. Just looking through the service history its got 330 ebc discs on. They do look a little bigger than standard. (obviously)

woops.
CRN groove ebc plain disks and flog them as their own you realise?
cheese grater groves on CRN-expect high pad wear

and if you have an lcr they are 323x28 size not 330's

oh i know lcr are 323 normally but mine has 330mm. He's spaced them out or sommet. There powerful but warped to f... Theres an invoice etc with it all on. Description on invoice is 330mm ebc performance brake discs. they're visualy bigger

Maybe there warped from bad driver usage or past there best so they are more suseptable to warping. There are so many variables you cant write a disc off as bad, touch wood so far my ebc discs have not had a problem and braking is really good.

I got the car 3 wks ago so you're rite i dont really know whats gone on. He didn't really seem like the track day type, more into his tunes with the sound system he's installed. Its really just what i've heard but thats mainly directed at the ebc pads.
