NAB. hope i did not come across in a bad way, more of the fact that 9 time out of 10 the car will never be pushed as hard as its capable of due to the driver skills.

I used to track a rover 600 2.0 turbo. whilst it was an old beater we never got close to its full potential and that was running uprated pads/ disks, track tyres and a few breathing / cooling mods.

yes i could have braked a bit later in to certain corners with a BBK fitted. but i doubt it would really have effected my lap times.

Yeh I no will u did say but u only have the fronts :(

NAB

If my badgerwagen ibiza racecar does'nt need more than std rear ibiza brakes (but runs 330mm fronts) yours sure as heck does'nt need em.. Ruin any balance on an already tail happy biased car..

Back to brakes.
Pictured below are ibiza cupra 280mm disks, which I have grooved, combined with ferodo ds2500 pads, braided hoses and motul RBF660 brake fluid.. Lupo (1.8t powered 200bhp) as pictured going round Oulton park driven by me.. Oblivious to the disks glowing cherry red under hard use. I doubt you will ever get disks as hot in road use.. This is plenty adequate for a k03x based car.
