What causes cfs

Righto...

Can knackered coilpacks cause high cf's even there they havent gone...No codes,No misfires ect.

I want to put my timing back to normal(way it was mapped on cupra_matts car) but i was gettin 11cf's at 6krpms,ive now knocked it back 0,75 and im gettin max of 5.4 ...

What cause cfs...So i can then check and replace and sort this problem out...

I know it isnt my Fmic or spark plugs...So any advice welcome

High cylinder temps cause CFs - main culprit running lean.
Timing too far advanced also.

A failing coilpack would have misfires, giving excess fuel = rich.

Just waiting on a wideband setup now with gauge to see what fueling is like then i can tweek the map my self when the hybrid comes
