I need a new coilpack as i got the DTC 16648 fault code come up, and the car stutters badly when trying to put the power down.

So, I have the seperate coilpacks, 4 of them? But Euro Car parts are showing a few, one looks like a big block, the others look like they go down the spark plug holes. My car is a Leon Cupra 1.8 20vt AUQ engine. What ones will i need?

Sorry if i come across as thick, its just i dont want to go to all the trouble of having to take stuff back etc.

Just to let you know, i changed them all and went for the more expensive type, got the four for £115, changed them, like a new car again, no farting around when the boost tries coming in :D Cheers Scooby ;)

Which one for a Cupra R 225?

Guessing either

ARC Ignition Coil part# 413440481
or
BBT Ignition Coil part# 413440480
or
OE Quality Ignition Coil part# 413440485

To be honest I'm only getting spare for a long trip in a couple of weeks so on top of the oil, pollen filter, carbon filter, spark plugs and two tyres, was going to go for the cheapest. Then I think it'll come in at some point so get the BBT, should I get 1 or 2?

You can buy genuine ones from the Stealers for £24 I got 4 from Dave at Sere a few months ago.

I'm not sure the R uses different coilpacks then the Cupra?

You're correct, they all listed with same angine codes.

I'm buying other things from there so figured get it all in one as there's no SEAT dealer near me (

get the last one, oe quality.... febi are good too as are beru. lc and r are same packs.

try audi dealer, skoda,vw... all use the same packs, just ask for auq engine varient.

The genuine bolt down ones from the S3 are worth looking at, paid £96 for 4 I think from Sere, the seals and bolts bring it around £100 :)
