About 2 fingers (middle size XD) not little ones would be great.
Mesuring mines is 3-3,5 cm

What I thought =P
What about dropping more at the front that at the rear side? Is this good? I read that rear should be higher to use the weight of the engine to give inertia while moving...
Which is better quality Apex or Weitec?

Thanks!

yer keep us in the loop :) what made you go for them ?

well £220 for them and shorter drop links mostly. But also got someone who has been running them for a year on his 5dr mk5 ibiza ith no issues what so ever. And as im tempted to sell the car at the end of this show season i would rather not be shelling out 500 odd quid for a more expensive set :p

Ah okay ! What do the drop links do ? And are coilover issues common ?

shorter drop links lift the anti roll bar so it doesn't foul on the driveshaft when you lower the car more than 40mm. And no so much atm i have heard about rear shocks on JOMs being shot in under a year, but everyones experiences are different as it depends how that person drives and road conditions near them etc....

I have the H&R springs on mine 25/40mm but I'm going to remove them and probably order a Bilstein B12 spring and damper kit. The ride is too harsh on the H&R springs.

The drop looks perfect on the H&R springs however, so if you only care about how your car looks and not fussed about ruining the driveability then these springs are for you.

t.oldaker how are you getting on with your TA's? I just brought a set but not to happy as they don't go as low as I'd like... How low are yours?

Hi, I did have a thread up here showing the drop of them before you have to modify them.

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=372771

Basicly they only drop 60mm ish with the helpers springs still in. To get them lower you have to ditch the helper springs and all the spacers and stuff on them so basicly its just the adjuster rings, the spring and the top mount. Cut the bumpstop to about 10-15mm so it sits in the top cup flush.

They are a ball ache to get low and bear in mind by doing the above the ride comfort is non existance and very harsh. But that comes with slamming a car. Atm my car sits like this....

Any issues or questions let me know and i can get the wheels off and take come pictures for you to explain
