I'd never let a Seat (or any other) dealer wash my car. Had no choice when taking delivery as I wanted to properly check the paint before driving it off the forecourt. However, when it goes in for a service or any other work I always insist they don't wash the car. The only person who touches the paint on our cars is me. I've yet to use a car dealer who takes proper care when preparing cars, they just want to turn them around as quickly and cheaply as possible.
Possibly CPC/driver training or being it september, some councils now have them on hire for the winternot too early. I followed a gritter out of hitchin earlier today, with the orange lights flashing and the spreading sign alight.
at 25 mph. in 25C temp.
I would guess they were simply moving it from A to B, but with this @Elf n'safety attitude of local councils, who knows?
