Decided to upgrade the mirror indicators to dynamic and the rear indicators to semi dynamic :)

After @Damo H looked at the adaptors for the rear lights, I thought I was gonna be in trouble and end up calling him in tears (either because I’d have broken my car or electrocuted myself). But it was easier than I expected :)

Yeah easy enough, just lazy how they don't give you the right fitment at the car end and make you dismantle the connector.

Sunday cleaning....

Nice! Did you have to do any coding for these? or is it just a straight swap?

Could you please post the link for the wing mirrors? Thank you!

I don’t think there’s any left, and they aren’t the cheapest out there, but I got them within 2 days unlike ones from AliExpress and other sellers from China etc. Other Cupra R owners had used these too so I opted for ones I knew were working and was willing to pay a bit more for decent quality.

No worries! Thanks anyway.

I’m the same - would much rather pay a little more knowing the quality is decent! I’ll keep an eye out

Wondering if mine will look odd with just the dynamic mirrors.. not keen on the rear ones personally

Had a Zaustworx back box delete fitted. Safe to say it livens up my little 1.4.
Would recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of noise.

Had my DSG remapped with TVS Engineering Stage II+ software yesterday. Despite it still adapting itself I can already feel a huge improvement in the driveability and performance of the gearbox. Silky smooth takeoffs and gear changes and the shift points that were selected based on my engine curve are way better than on the factory software.

Will share a more detailed review once I've driven the car more but at least my initial impressions are extremely positive!

Ironically most of the branded stuff is just the same cheap chinese product with a label on it. Especially the stuff on eBay. Not saying the led indicators are but there are a ton of resellers marking up the price after buying from China and putting their own brand on it.

I can't see any explanation what the difference is between 2 way, 4 way and plug and play. I'm probably missing something obvious in the listings for the rear adaptors. I presume yours had the adjustable delay control too?

Yeah it has the adjustable delay on mine - I left it on the highest setting for what’s in the video. Just the right amount of delay.

I got mine from aliexpress, same as two mates I know and they are both decent enough quality. I paid £30 for mine on 11.11 single day

Don't sideline the Jb4, this isn't just a "tuning box", really good piece of kit, and it will outperform the Bluefin map no problems!
Went with the bluefin in the end much easier to use and the £75 of today on eBay made it easy choice, and I presume it’s the stage 1 and no expense in the extra £27 app with the other device can’t wait
