What did you use to debadge the boot? How did you avoid damaging the paint work?

I heated up each individual badge with a hair dryer and then used cotton thread to slice the badges off. I then heated the sticky felt and peeled it off. I then used sticky stuff remover on what was left and rubbed it clean with a cloth. Took about 20 minutes all together.

resisted the urge to upgrade my foglights further (after one of my LEDs has blown) to a proper LED conversion. Probably best i dont with current bills (none car related)

Thanks for letting me know how you got them off

Removed my Team Heko Wind deflectors (Got sick of the extra road noise on the M6 and that when I pressure wash the car if any water gets sprayed upwards underneath them then a few dribbles make their way INSIDE the car).

Had new Kaylan mud flaps fitted.

Whacked some RallyFlapZ stickers on the car as a thank you to them for making my nice shiny new flaps.

Debadged the rear today :)

All Leon's should be debadged especially 1.2 TSi 's like mine!

I removed my Climair ones as well because the road noise was terrible

Well yeah mine is 1.6 tdi. Nothing to boast about there haha

I'm proud of my 280 badge, lets others know what just passed them.

Checked my oil this morning and still no top up needed since I got it, 3.5 months and 2000 miles now. Overall mpg is 29.5 (measured from fill up to fill up) the trip says 29.8 so still pretty accurate. I don't do long journeys and tend to get a move on so I think that's not bad for a hot hatch.

Well yeah I'd be proud of that too lol

You dont need to wash that! it still looks grey!

To be fair mine nearly looks like that, I thought I was going to be pedantic cleaning my cupra but I'm going through a can't be arsed phase.

I bought loads of cleaning stuff my 184 before it arrived...it all ended up on eBay and I payed some guys down the road to clean it for a fiver instead!

I might be lazy but I'm not that lazy, none touches my lady but me, especially with their stone encrusted sponges. I probably won't even let the dealership do their mini valet when it needs a service.

Me too, I might not wash it every week, but when I do I do it right, no one else gets near it.
