Finally got around to turning the Soundakor thing down... gonna start at 30% and see how it goes.

this is accessed by the wiper motor cover, isn't it?
It is Andrew, there are three clips to undo then a rivet at either end of the trim panel. If you undo these you can lift the panel just enough to get your hand in to unplug the soundaktor.
Worth the effort mate
30% is actually a good level... if maybe now a little too quiet lol. now means I can have it in Cupra mode all the way to work now without that droning noise. can now only hear it if i give it some beans so im happy with 30% for now.

effort. that's the problem at the moment. can barely open a jar of marmalade with these ribs
went for a drive this morning which might have been a bit optimistic!
made me wish I'd gone for DSG as reaching for reverse was a pain.

If you're ever in MK or towards Northants then I can always do it through VCDS for you if it saves you killing yourself trying to do it.
Drove to N Wales. Rode around Coed Llandegla, had an overpriced orange drink & drove home. Two bikes on the roof & still managed an average of over 45mpg!

i asked you a question or two about this a few pages back if you care to respond? interested in reading any write up you would find the time to write about the box as I'm still deliberating a box or a remap etc. (as i'm sure are others)

Hi, the price for Cupra is wrong at TMC website. Ive been in contact with Därom about that. I ordered for the Golf R. £349 + VAT. Same as dtuk. TMC has 4 connections while dtuk has 3. In my world, more is better.

Whole heartedly agree love the noise from engine as the revs build much better than artificial sound.
