what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Took my beloved ST FR 184 for his year two service at 31,300 miles.

The dealer did a fantastic job and replaced the broken luggage cover spring clip under warranty. I did get my year 3 SEAT assistance and all for 239 English pounds

Carried out my first mod today ( maybe too small and easy a thing to be called a mod ? )

Black carbon sticky stuff on each side of the number plate, which carries on the lines of the lower grill.

Took before and after pics, but need another couple of posts before pics can be attached. . .

Oh, and washed car for the 3rd time since picking it up last Thursday.

First white car as well as first Seat !!!

About 30 minutes to use paper to make a template , then clean, cut and stick.

Used matt carbon fibre looking sticky stuff which was 99p free delivery on ebay !

Time will tell if it stays the course , but for that outlay, who cares ?

Looks great, guess lots of us need to pull our fingers out and get it done too! Did you take the plate off and wrap the entire width of the front? Or just two little bits either side?

Took the plate off, then just covered each end ( it's easier to match up each end to the curvy bit, that way ).

Plus I only ordered 30cm length for 99p

. . and like a previous poster says, it doesn't effect the parking sensor. .

Yep, sensors go to a solid beep with about 10 - 12" gap to garage door.

Forgot to check before I covered them though to see if it has changed the distance though. . .

Pretty hard to start off but once it's down pretty straight forward

shame you can't train them to lick off pigeon droppings.....might be worth offering to rehome a rescue (ex battery) one

done this on mine a while ago, really sets it off... cant upload anything at the minute
