Thank! The roof I did myself. The grill surround is factory and the wheels were £140 all in

Ahhh I have an fr so mine is chrome from factory. That's a lot cheaper than I thought for the wheels! Looks a good job on the roof too!!

Ahh I did have an fr prior and did wrap the surround wasn't too difficult. It is cheap but he discounted me a lot cos he let me down first time should have been over £200. Thanks not easy to work with gloss black

What error is this? I'd be interested to know.

basically there is a bug this cause if the subwoofer is set to 5 this really mean zero. on mine one had software 151 change to latest one and i have to take down setting from 9 to much bass for me. also there is equaliser improvement

Not just today, but since picking up a Leon ST FR 184 on Friday I've been putting a few miles in covering 100 mile of motorway and a few trips out around town I can say I'm very happy with my decision to go with the Leon.

I'm browsing around for mods and bits which can be tweaked and already have a few things in mind such as some ODB11 work and I like the idea of the Auto Light and rear camera.

Overall I'm a very happy man coming from a 1.8 petrol focus the ride is night and day difference :)

I have had the Leon for two weeks now, so it is about time I applied some paint protection. Here is the results of my efforts. I'm happy with it

What sort of protection you putted on car?

I use Auto Glym HD Wax. It gives a decent shine and will last a few months before it needs doing again.

Yeah but when putting wax you need to wash car with shampoo that has wax.I am too lazy to wash with sponge and shampoo. Usually I wash my car on self-service car wash.

Each to their own mate. But car washes are not for me :ban:

Same here. Had Leon and work appliance ( Passat) same length of time. Leon has been washed by myself, and was detailed a couple of weeks after we had it. Passat goes to local wash place. Noticible difference in the two..
as for auto washes... 24 years in the industry taught me a lot, which is why I'd never use one ;)

you guys recommend to put wax when the new car arrives? And decontamination is needed?

Got autoglass out to fill in a stone chip...

Oh pants!

Have requested a Seat OEM replacement, as I'm sure I saw a post on here that made comments about warranty

Replaced all the brakes on my Leon today, old ones were in a state after 27k miles.
Painted the centres and edges in a matt finish high temp paint as don't like it when they go all rusty.

My FR was stolen on Wednesday night [:@]

Hope they catch the buggers but it appears I might be going car shopping again 2 1/2 years earlier than I expected

^^
Thats really bad news mate, how the hell did they manage to steal it, or did they break into the house for the keys ?

Had some warranty work done over the last week at the stealers, a Turbo Boost sensor apparently needed to be changed as part of a recall, the boot handle (seat logo) needed to be changed as it was sticking.
