Parked it opposite this. Very understated which I think is nice, catch people off guard.

Looks like Urmston that...

Well that's the North Coast 500 done. Time for a few beers in Inverness and then a 7 hour drive home tomorrow. Anyone up for a 4 day meet to do it all over again. I would advise everyone to do it. I never knew Scotland was such a stunning place. Every corner is another breathtaking view.

Thanks a lot :) let me know which one with the rear cam you finally selected, it really looks like a life saver :)
I’ve got the two channel 750S in my Cupra, with the power magic box that lets it run in parking mode. You can set parking mode to record a time lapse one frame per second. Alternatively there’s a motion and impact sensor option that starts recording if it detects an impact or there’s motion in defined areas of the frame. I find both unreliable and prone to false positives so use time lapse.

I use a 128gb SD which allows me to have about a week’s worth of HD footage on the card at any time before overwritten. So should be able to use it to contest penalty charges (bus lane, speeding etc) that arrive in the post, as well as accidents. This was a lesson learned when my plate was cloned and I couldn’t use the cam footage to contest various penalties incurred by my doppelgänger because it had been overwritten on the supplied 16gb card.

Interim service at IMG Warrington at 3yrs/42k miles, including changing the diff oil. Also asked them to replace the wheel centre caps which were corroded. Turns out the caps cost £37!

Someone decided their door liked my door quite a bit

Seagulls fancied using my car as a toilet so I decided to clean my car myself for the first time since I got it over a year ago! Bought a foam gun for the pressure washer and some ProKleen cherry snow foam and it came out gleaming, very impressed.

A Facebook page was making them in limited numbers, but they’ve just announced they’re stopping making anything indefinitely going forward.

I brought a set from eBay, sent from a German fit out. Sent a message before asking for Copper, with a picture of the colour etc and they accommodated it pretty well. Haven't installed yet as car arrives Thursday :yes:

Original post below;

This arrived today.

Hopefully when the Midnight Black Cupra turns up i can transfer onto the existing badge with a decent colour match to the SEAT logo. Liven up the black badging on a black car a bit!

If it looks good, I’ll think about hunting down the Cupra R boot lettering instead!
