Went to Haynes breakfast club today. I like the sleeper look of my Cupra but that Megane look amazing :cheeky:

From the back. But the front with the weird dame Edna lights, it’s just awful. I’d have to cover the weird extensions up.

Just seen car wow video, where the Golf R beats the more powerful trophy version in a 50mph 3rd gear drag.

Despite being heavier too.

Well we've both been waiting for bloody 370mm X 32 mm 2 piece discs to be delivered, only to find out that Reyland M/sport are shut until tomorrow and then they will have a back log of orders to do so no bbk for the up and coming meet. On the bright side these big bad boys came back today from paint shop and @Damo H, i listened to what you said and these are gonna be seen alright.

Gave her a well needed wash, just opened a road close to me with new asphalt so she was reeeeally dirty after a few fun passes (and a few kms on a gravelroad yesterday)

Fitted some Golf MK7 GTI pedals... Thought yeah this should be an easy job... Clutch and brake pedal went on a treat, the accelerator on the other hand was a pain in the arse! Finally on and looking much cleaner

We're camping at Silverstone for the F1, took out the rear seats to give me more boot space. Every little helps!

Hope the weather holds out for you, as it has been lashing down all day here in Edinburgh, and me on a day off too, got nowt done . Still the missus is working all weekend so I will watch it live on the box, hope Merc has got them cooling problems sorted as we all know how hot it can get on a good day in this country.

It was a bit wet last night, tent held up well though, Ha ha! They should be okay I reckon, it's not nearly as hot here as it was in Austria!

I found it easier to remove the acc pedal (1 torx bolt holding assembly and 1 plug at the top), easier to get the rubber on out of the car with it being a tight fit :)

Spent 2 hours this evening cleaning and polishing my wheels. Trying to get the car somewhere near clean so that after a 3-4 hour Motorway journey they look half decent at the National Meet

Haven’t even looked at the bodywork yet!!

Strut brace from Facebook came - I’ll be fitting it next week. People seem to notice a good improvement so hopefully it works

Rear Spoiler and TRC Front Splitter added today. Not the best pics. Fingers crossed for a dry weekend for a good detail

I black wrapped the front splitter under the grill again (second attempt, using heat this time) annnnnnd the very last corner I put in got damaged.

As I was out there I wrapped the front seat badge... few imperfections so tried again another ....3 times? Ripped all those off too.

So my cars still the same.

I know the feeling - tried to wrap my grill surround gloss black last week, used a heat gun and it was going well until the wrap melted a bit then tore and i messed up the last corner :(
