bang that part number in to google, its a aftermarket NON OEM K03 turbo, i bet the upgraded parts are the bits to turn it in to a K03S...
 
there was a guy on here who had a NON oem ko4 put on his LCR after popping his, he had nothing but OVER boost as the thing wasnt set up correctly, he tried every thing ended up having to take it back and have it all mapped
270bhp is fpob the max for a K03s charger too...
 
i really dont know who fitted it or what it is mate, im just on here trying to find out by you guys helping me :)

IMO - i think your at stage 1 map and the turbo has been set up correct, 217 bhp is good and about rite i think for a mapped k03S...
i think 700 was a bit steap for the turbo though but the last owner paid it so no biggie BUT im thinking it was advertised as with a hibrid turbo??? i spose in a fasion it is, its a K03 with K03S inturnals...

i was thinking of getting it staged 2 remaped do you think thats a bad or good idea?
 
the k03s has a few bits the same as the K04 but thats as far as it goes.
that partnumber is deffo a "jap import k03" and it seemes to have the k03s bits put in it.

stage 2 should be fine just make sure you have all the supporting mods for stage 2
 
front mount cooler
turbo intake pipe
filter
down pipe
race cat or de cat
cat back system
i would also look in to and get - uprated fpr, polly dog bone mount, uprated front discs and pads and suspension.
 
oh well i still need to do alot more before i go for stage 2 :(

just been out (in the rain :( ) replaced split pipes and im sure it was getting to 16psi i will try again in the dry :)
 
if it over boosts youl be spiking at over 21 22 psi i think was hitting 26-30 witch isnt good
 
what is 1.7 bar :(sorry dont understand much about it? its getting between 14 to 16 psi if that helps?
 
14.7psi=1 bar so there for 16 psi=1.1 bar roughly , i would still say boost leak test it mate , as 16 psi is low peak unless that's what boost your holding at ?
 
i wouldnt know how to hold the boost mate :( what psi should i be getting? where could i get a leak test from?
