as you say, 60 /40 seems the general consensus.. but theres a few that have gone lower.
but if your near lots of speedbumps, i persoanlly wouldnt go too low
:)

Mine seems fine at 60/40 doesn't seem to hit any bumps round our way plus it looks good i posted pics in my thread if you wanna see what it would look like ;).

I did have a quick look,is it all level on the ride height then? will drive up n have a nosey at some point in next couple of days to see what it's settled like....oh that may be hard if mines in the garage:D best get my bike out...not up your road actually,no way!!!

Oh come on i used to ride up there every morning when i worked down willow lane, i'll tell my family not to call the police if they see a weird lady looking at my car ;).

i recon you could get 50mm at the front without any rubbing issues.

My area has no speedbumps so its great, but the roads in general are a disgrace, especilly in Scotland, so you might want to take the comfort factor into account rather than just the height of it, you being a girl 'n all

I'm 60/40 on TA Technix aswell, plently of speed bumps round me and it does my head in!only tends to rub when I've got people in the back but purely because of the annoyance factor I would recommend you going 50/40

I have loads off speedbump near me but i would deck it as low as i could, and slowly go over the bumps!

This is what I do pretty much, and its an absolute pain in the arse having to slow down for every bump, then speed up again only to slow right down for the next one while theres a huge queue of cars behind you getting pissed off with the retard in the lowered car lol...

...Does look good though :p

Im 60mm at the front with 50 profile tyres and dont get any rubbing.

That aint a bad thing, i love pissing everyone off slowing down for speed bumps, especially taxi drivers!! :p

True but so what speed bumps are there 4a purpus!but who ever invented them needs shooting!

Cant see how you can say I want a 60/40 drop on collies....you just adjust them until your happy ;)

Only speed humps I used to have issues with were those little plastic ones cliping my side skirts :(

I have 60/40 and it never rubs, if i could do it again, i would get 60/50 or 60/60 as the back stilllooks a bit high in my opinion.

(not as high as in my Signature picture - thats under heavy breaking... and turning - whoops!)

Weird??? maybe a lil deranged but weird, nah!:p but still not deranged enough to cycle up that hill!!!!

Have got a few more days to decide anyway as GSF sent 16v discs for the front, eejits! and garage cockup on booking,so took her to be washed seeing as she's not getting all her other treats!!

Im the same, the back of mine still looks high with the 40mm drop. But it is sitting at the same height as the front now as i went for a 60mm drop at the front.
