I am looking at getting a flip key for my ibiza cupra mk 4.

What one works or are they all the same

how easy is it to code the new key???

This is how the key pairing process is described in the user manual:

Note: Maximum time allowed for synchronising is 30 seconds.

1. The normal key (= the one without remote) is used to activate the ignition, and the key with the remote control is the key to be programmed.

2. Check that the car is open before commencing programming.

3. Place the key without remote control in the contact inside the steering and ignition lock.

4. Use the key with remote control and mechanically lock the vehicle from the driver's door.

5. Open and close the driver's door lock mechanically, using the remote control key.

6. At the same time press the open button on the remote control key.

7. Complete the procedure by removing the key from the contact.

how do i know how many mhz my key is ? it doesn't say it on the outside or when you push down the tab and pull it apart...

erm can't see a part number either

all it says on the key is HAA and then W3 on the side

Easiest way is to pull the key apart and check the label.
Or you can also call to the dealer and ask them to check PR numbers based on VIN.

PR 5D1 = 433.92MHz - 434.42MHz
PR 5D2 = 315MHz
PR 5D3 = 315MHz with reduced transmitting power

I would guess it is 434MHz thou.
