what grease to use on door hinges?

My doors are getting a bit creaky and I remember someone telling me that if you clean them with a steam cleaner they will need to be re greased so seeing as the car was stripped insidet and cleaned when I had a major leak I think I need to re grease/top them up as such, so my question is whats the best grease to use on the door hinges?

PTFE spray lube. That is what the dealer would do (and some will charge you for it, but at least give you the remanants along with washer fluid).

Lovely cheers, local motor store should stock that yeah? Ive heard of PTFE tape but not spray lube, ow er misses!

I use aerosol spray white grease.

On the recommendation of Reg, I bought some of Halfords own spray grease to cure this exact problem and it's worked a treat. Nice and cheap too.

So no real set grease to use then by the sounds of it, just have a read of the back and take your pick. (within reasons)
