What is this pipe?

I was under the bonnet and notices that one of the small rubber pipes seems to be cracking on the surface.

It is the one on the bottom right of this picture - The 'J' shaped pipe which disappears under the engine cover.

Can anyone tell me what this pipe actually is for.

If anyone has a part number, then that would be even better. I've tried looking on Vagparts, but can't identify it.

Vaccum pipe, it then goes up over the bluk head in the form of a metal pipe then i think to the carbon canister. Maybe wrong but without looking i cant remeber.

Sorry it joins to a t piece, one to carbon cansiter and one to the TIP.

Im planning on replacing this with some 8mm blue silicone hose when it eventually get delivered.

Might be cheaper this way than buying a Seat part?
