Ive sold my Ibiza FR for a Mazda 3 MPS with all the extras. got 11k for it, so 1k lost in 8 months:cry:

It was this or a mk5 R32 in blue, insurance was cheaper for the R32 but i bet petrol would add up to a lot more.

260BHP 2.3 turbo is dangerously addictive, and driving it i realised how much i missed the sound of a lovely petrol exhaust. the only thing i havent decided on is what colour to get, black was too hard to keep clean so that may be out, narrowed down to red or silver, i just cant decide
what do you reckon, im swaying to red

i got the car with all extras for cheaper than a basic one, (brother works for them staff discount) real world per month it costs me no more to own, but will to run

Red was out of fashion, but seems to be coming back in again. Way too many dark (ie black, dark blue) cars around if you ask me.
Silver if you want to join the brigade of cars which look clean when they are dirty (if you see what I mean). Silver just doesn't show the dirt but can be a pain to match if you get a chip/scratch.
Personally, I'd go for red.

PS Front/side shot suggests it resembles a new-style Astra.
 
should have gone r32 mate sound along would be worth it, but im biased. go for it in red it looks so much better you dont get much shiney with silver!
 
i was looking at the mazda 3 before i went for the Bora but i was after a Derv and the mazda only came with 1.6 in the Diesel.
Nice car. enjoy it. #
shame about the fuel bills!!
 
 
i was going to go R32, but cos my brother works for them i got a really good deal, plus it is way more mental than the R32 and has cool stuff like an LSD

:confused: The R32 has 4WD. Sorry but i would have got the R32 and put a HPA twin turbo 565 bhp conversion on it but then thats me. At the end of the day if you prefered the Mazda then you made the right choice as it`s your money and your the one driving it.
 
and i like to be different, or at this rate it would have to be renamed golfV6.net
plus the golf is 25k with the options i would want

nice motor these are a bit of an animal would of prefered the vag golf but thats cause im vag crazy :D get some pics up when you got it :) didnt fancy the new leon cupra then? remapped they do 300bhp+
 
These are cracking cars.

My uncle has one and as you say, they go like stink.

He has it in red and its the best colour i think.

went back to the dealer today, had another go :)D again) just to be sure and then ordered one in red, this car was made to be red i think so it had to be. now im just awaiting their phonecall to say how long its going to take to get it.
I saw one without the aero kit on it too and it looks so much better with it on, the eibach suspension really lowers the car onto its massive 18s, which are only just big enough to fit over its monstrous brakes, and ive applied for my Vpower card, think it will come in useful.

And FR*Man1984 what you said about a GTi looking more subtle another reason i swayed to this was cos no one knows what an MPS is so i thought its gonna be a real sleeper rocket

i see you show tears on your statement of #1k lost in 8 months on Ibiza (which i think is amazingly good)

But you wait to see the depriciation on the Mazda 3 expecially in MPS form. Have a look,at the Mazda 6 MPS ( the real mad one!!!) You can pick up a 18 month one for 12k
 
yea 1k isnt to bad to lose i lost 3k in 20 month on the ibiza, and know soeone who bought an fr basicaly the same age as the on i got rid of for 6k!!! that was a bargin, got to drive it yesterday and do miss it even standard it was very quick. howi miss it!!!!!!! but the r32 was better for the hours staright through run! couldnt have done that in the ibiza
