What Mk is my Ibiza Cupra?

I have just purchased my Ibiza 1.8 20v Cupra can any1 tell me what MK it is?
It was registerd in March 2005

Also my car has yellow headlights and black rear lights are these after market?

I think yellow ones are normaly for european driving, but not to sure. Think the black rear's are aftermarket light though.

I have been on the seat web site and you can actually buy the yellow lights from there I think my car was a demo car at seat as it seems to have a few extras like the heter vents have Chrome Surrounds. I dont think the previous owner wouldhave done these mods as she was a 37yr old woman?

What is the difference between T cupra and R cupra if there is any?

Id say if you have yellow insert lights id say they are after market

There isnt a difference, in the MK4 your car is a Cupra. Not T or R.

When people say T they refer to it being Turbo's whilst the R was in some of the promo pictures but then dropped the R before lauch, it basically meant Reet Fast or racing either or

Just so you know, the yellow insert headlights are a lot cheaper than the standard ones and are the part of choice for front end smash repairs

As said there is no mk4 cupra r the cupra r is badged as just cupra (180 petrol/160 diesel) and the cupra is now badged as fr (150 petrol/130 diesel)

There is no leon cupra r these days either, same format as the ibiza

What is the reason the Cupra doesnt have side skirts? but the 1.4 sport model does have side skirts standard?

Do you know the person you bought it off? If not she may have had the car in her name and insured by her to keep costs low and her kid might have been the real main user? Sounds like it's had a canny few mods added!
