What power?

New to the 1.8turbo. IV been used to ford CVH turbo and cosworth.
I bought a damaged ibiza cupra to use as a track car to replace my vr6.
I bought the car with rolling road print of 252bhp when it had a large front mount cooler fitted.
It had a front end knock which damaged the intercooler so it had a small ally forge item fitted. Then rolling roaded again at 192 with the comment that the intercooler was to small and getting hot.
The car has a KO3s turbo 3inch down pipe Decat then 2.5inch to back box with 3 inch tail pipe plus larger front mount I have just fitted.
I done my first track day yesterday and it really shifts. Sounds like a jet in boost and boosts to 20psi holds 17-18psi.
Is there any way of finding what it's had done or what power a KO3s with 20psi would be?

Rolling road lottery, the k03s max out on good rollers at 245-50. Even with more mods it won't go anymore unless lots of time and effort from the mapper and meth.

So this car could just be standard inside standard injectors just KO3s and a map. Has forge recirc and TIP
And could realistically be 230ish bhp.
Like I said I'm used to cosworth tuning where it's different injectors chip etc for most stages of tune.

What would be next step to the ibiza

Is it defo a k03s? How many vac pipes coming off the actuator? (Old Cossie owner aswell ;) )

To get the most from a k03s then the following is recomended.

K03s
Tip silicone badger 5 or forge
Fmic with minimum 2.5 pipe work
Open cone
Lcr fuel pump or Walbro as the standard pump is crap
Standard injectors should be fine
3inch downpipe and atleast 2.5 Catback
A good remap badger 5 for me he's just done his magic on my Cupra r was crap before I went in.

I'm breaking a few Ibiza's with mods lol

Iv had 2 cosworths magenta and flint grey.
Great cars.
There is one hose coming 90degrees off the top of the actuator.

Yeah k03s then. Just needs mapping properly. Can't see the intercooler holding it back not on a k03s anyway. Check it's not leaking boost.

Ha I've had 2 aswell a white one and Flint grey best colour ;)

Is that boost figure low then? 20 and holding 18?
The only issue I had on the track day was popping boost hoses. So IV been round and checked all the intercooler hoses. The only suspect pipe a can see is the boost gauge with hard plastic feed with metal end joins rather than just silicone.
I'm best getting an up rated fuel pump then to be sure it's got one.
Is it a fuel tank pump?
Boost gauge is only a 20psi gauge so it does say 20 but I can't go more.

Yeah it's an I tank one piss to change. Mine used to boost 21 hold 18 so it's about right but if it only ran 192 last time then sumet a up somewhere.

It's not the psi it's the way it boosts. For instance my lcr boosted 24psi but the map was rubbish and it ran 230bhp. Went to badger 5 and now I'm boosting 18 and 249 bhp lol and plus 50 lbft from when I went lol.

JKM said it was because it only had a small side mount fitted. I have just put front mount back on.

Might just get a pump a good service and take it somewhere on a rolling road. It bloody flew at brands though lol
I'm on the Isle of Wight so JKM closest.
