My 110 TSI has now averaged 56.6 mpg over 11,000 miles, my fuel is cheapo Sainsburys and probably half of the total mileage is motorway driving. Very happy with my car and is as good as the wifes 1.6 TDI Leon which is used many on short journeys. A bargain for less than£12,000.
I'm getting just over 45 mpg, brim to brim, based on 14,600 miles ... looking for a better figure in the summer, although I am unsure how use of aircon and soon to be fitted opening sunroof will affect that
Im a little surprised by these figures. I thought people qould be reporting regular figures of 50+ mpg from these cars as a Leon with a 1.4 tsi will get 45+
I know the Toledo is bigger but being a 1.0 tsi I'd have expected it to achieve 50+
Reason Im interested is because i was thinking of replacing my wifes 63 plate ibiza 1.4 toca with one of these when the time comes as this has a better 0-62 and better (should be) mpg. The wifes car currently averages 40mpg over 9k miles and on a decent run achieves 45mpg.
