Help!!!

Does anyone know what size torx bit is needed to remove the fuse box?

I have a torx bit set but T20 is too small and T25 too big. I would guess its a 22 or something but this doesn't seem to be a stndard size - halfords only do 20 and 25 even in their "professional range".

So anyone know the size and where I might get one from ?

p.s. Really want to get it done this weekend so need a shop rather than online.

Even more confused now,

Noticed the sockets on the car have six points but my bits have 5 points :wtf:

I'm guessing there's two types of torx bits?

Back to Halfords I guess, I reckon a 6 point, 20 size would fit!

AFAIK Torx is always a 6-pointed star. Sizes come in T20, T25, T27, T30 etc...

If you have 5-pointed bits then they are wrong. Get the proper 6-pointed torx bits and I believe it is T27 you need. I can check in the car later if you like (I have a Golf but I'm sure its the same)

It's OK now,

bought myself some 6 pointed bits and TX25 fits nicely.

Don't know WTF the 5 point bits I had were but they were marked TS20, 25 etc.

TS are security bits - should also have a hole up the middle. If you look at the the screws that hold the MAF in the MAF Tube, they're TS ones.
