Have been looking for ages and im eithe rin the wrong places or there isnt anything on here.

im looking to buy a cat-back exhaust system for my LCR but dont know which brand to go for. i have heard a lot about milltek and piperx but is there any other brand i should be looking at.

if i was to go for milltek i am thinkg of going for the non-resonated, anyone had any problems with these. and also is it worth going for a high flow sports cat and milttek manifold etc??

thanks matt

have a search mate, there are about 4 threads a few pages down, also look at blueflame, they are a bigger bore and the tip looks better then miltek but each to their own.

worth looking at 3" down pipe, sports cat, they are the most restrictive parts as standard.

cheers for that mate will take anothe look. do you reckon custom exhaust are any good i got a mate whos dad owns a company called pheonix performance exhaust makes them for lambos and ferraris and maserati aswell as mazdas, but he dont do anything for the VAG. my mate has got one on his car and it sounds amazin

custom are only as good as the person doing it, good storys and bad storys about them, but go for a 2.75" bore size,

but maybe for the same price you can buy a bolt on system.

The other brand that springs to mind would probably be Jetex

Milltek all the way for me, i've got one on my LC and help fit my mates one on his LCR sounds really nice with a deep burble, no drowning on the motorway or at a steady speed but put your foot down and it comes into life, very well made all the welds are nice and neat fits together very well and sits nicely in the rear valence.

Just ordered my Milltek resonated cat-back through JBS's group buy. £330 fitted. Earlier in the year I was quoted £448 + fitting. If you can't get to Chesterfield (and I don't imagine you will be from Somerset) it's £330 with free delivery.

sorry for the hi jack:

jonny - i can't find that group buy, and i'm interested :)

edit:

ok i just found it, god i feel like a fool!!

now just got to decide cat back or turbo back, how much difference is it worth it????

I've got a full blueflame system and it's great.

When I change my car I will definitely get another one of their system.
