Had my toledo tdi se 110 remapped before xmas and it has made a massive improvement. MPG has gone up and car feels a lot smoother.

Are there any other mods that i could do to see a little more power? Its a non PD engine.

I no remap was the best for performance gain for money but what else could i do next?

Im not to fussed if there is no point it doing anything else as I'm very happy with the car but wanted to ask the question. But some info from you chaps would be nice.

Cheers

Hi Mate,
try a performance air filter, such as K &N or Green pannel.
Would work well considering you have the remap.

Just out of interest, which re-map did you go for and what sort of mpg gains have you been getting?

Cheers

Had been thinking about and panel filter but as far as i am aware the OEM ones are pretty good for air flow and the performance ones just give more of an intake sound.

As far as the map i had it done at CCTuning, It made a massive difference didn't really notice straight away but was told that it would settle and then i would start noticing a difference which i have.

The car runs a lot smooth and is much more responsive and the MPG has gone up between 10 - 15% depending on if i have a mad one or do a long journey and sit at motorway speed.

Think i need to clean the EGR Valve and intake manifold out though. Never been done and I'm on 122K so if its clogged can't imagine thats doing any good to my MPG.

my remap turned mine into an animal, instantly it felt like somebody had put a bigger turbo in it. The standard air filter is perfectly ok for the job.
