Oh right! Not being an expert on these things, I'll take your word for it. So do they change the code due to slightly different mechanicals? Only I noticed the ed30 engine was different too.
Where did you get your info from btw?....Just so I can wind up an S3 owner I know lol!

in all honesty i dont think you could take the mick out of an S3. the interior is years ahead in quality, and you'll only be quicker in the dry.

I know that mate, I've learned alot about vag cars in general from this excellent forum. I know more about his s3 than he does thanks to the knowledge of the majority of posters (you included) on here. But its just a bit of banter we have. Neither is under any illusion as to which car we would rather have. Its usefull to quote sources of info though and Im genuinely interested in the differences between all the tfsi engines.

Well i just sold my astra vxr nurburgring and racing and bought a cupra k1 i do prefer the k1 as it doesnt torque steer as much the k1 is more practical 5 door.. Good speed and handles better.. Im just wanting to get an exhaust sytem simular to the remus exhaust on the old nurburgring anybody got and sujjestions for my k1

iirc the back box on the K1 is remus?

You wont get a Leon to sound like a VXR with a Remus. However it can sound like this which is exactly what the Ed30 and S3 sounds like with the same exhaust.

My old car at the start of this clip (you can only hear my car even though the ST had a full Milltek also) and an S3 about 42 secs. My car and the S3 both with Milltek. S3 sounds louder off the line as it was able to get all its power down with no wheelspin.
