What's the difference in the bam and amk engines

I know a few of you may be yawning as this may have been asked time and time again but I've looked on here for the answers but can't find them (although I'm using my phone.

I know the obvious difference is the the power but what else is different on them?

I'm guessing different turbo, ecu map, manifolds?

Is there any easy way of telling witch one I have, would the engine code be on my v5,reason I ask is until a few days ago I didn't realise they did 2 different engines and I'm interested in seeing witch one I have

the engine code is stamped on the head in the bottom left corner, think you have to lift the engine cover to see it

Code stamped on cyl head, difference will be map/maybe some sensors and possibly internals.

As far as I'm aware it's just a difference in the factory map/software.

Someone will confirm tho I'm sure.

They are the same, Only difference is the MAP.

AMK has VVT hence the reason neither have the secondary air pumps

Please list the minor differences. genuinely interested as according to Etos there is no difference between the 2.

BAM supposedly has additional webbing cast into the block to help strengthening it and slightly larger water passages
Hopefully in the next week or so I can confirm this as I have a BAM ready to take out and a spare APY block to compare it to

But that would show a difference between the BAM and APY, where does the AMK fit in?
