whats the difference between a ibiza gti 16v and a ibiza gti cupra 16v? im hopefully going to look at a gti 16v. at the moment ive got a 1.4i... how much do you fink insurance will be. im nearly 20 and have one years no claims.

Gti got the option of a sunroof and AC. The cupra had 40% less sound proofing. Interior sometimes, badges.

im nearly 21 and have 2 years NCB and mine is pretty near the £1000 mark third party fire and theft try elephant.co.uk and add your parents as named drivers. but depends on where you live etc.

oh and use the search button mate, its not coz its been asked a lot (it might be but..) its coz its a really confusing line up.

I bought a 97 GTI 16V new and so had the choice of Cupra or GTI16V.

The 2.0 GTI 16V got polished lac wheels were the Cupra got White powder coated ones.
The 2.0 GTI 16V got aircon and sunroof as standard.
Cupra got half leather and jazzy seat trim.
Cupra had slightly different tail pipe but that will not be the case now but was when new.
Cupra to me seemed to ride harder when new than the GTI 16V to me.

But SEAT kept changing playing with the specs of the Cupras every 6 months so it can get confusing.
