Now i know im new on here and the question will have been asked a thousand and one times and that theres a FAQ thread on it which dosent really answer this question as everybodys running different ET's and width wheels

BUT
Im looking in to getting a mk4 beeza
and i wanna no what the lowest ET (offset) is that you can run with a 8" to 9" wheel without archwork or stupid amounts of camber whilst running on low?

Depends on whether its a 8" or 9" wheel tbh.

On mine I have 17x8 all round, ET15 rear which pokes a bit but with tyre stretch there is no rubbing at all. You could go a bit lower but too much poke doesn't look good IMO.

On a 9" it would need to be higher than that since the wheel is wider. So around ET25.

The fronts should be similar...but it depends if you want the wheels poking, which would cause problems with the wheels catching the arches when steering if your very low.

With low offsets and wide wheels you'll definitely need a fair bit of tyre stretch, in case you didn't know.

I said 8" to 9" because theres 2 sets i have in mind the first 17"x9" porsche twists and some 17"x8" merc rims proberly go with the 9"s though

I think id proberly try and get them level with the arch so im thinking maybe 20 on the back and 25 on the front should work nicely im not a fan of to much poke either yours look just right, pretty much the stance im looking for! what are your ET's on yours

Porsche twists are very nice. Are they 9's all round? Don't really like 9" on the front, you sort of have to poke to clear the suspension on the inside. Not many people put 9" on the front of MK4 Ibiza's because you generally need the arches rolled and quite a bit of tyre stretch to help stop the tyres rubbing.

Mines 17x8 all round...ET40 front, ET15 rear. I'd like to have the fronts sitting out a bit more (maybe ET25), but pretty happy for now, since I can't afford to buy wider adapters lol.

Although you could have problems fitting them, because they only come in 5x114.3 jap fitment with low-ish offsets around ET30. So if you got adapters (15/20mm) they'd poke a bit much on the front. Adapters can work out quite expensive also.

Still do-able though!!

How good do they look???????????

The rear of them are flat so could have 10 or so milimetre shaved off them then some adapters to get them to fit

I was tempted by a set of those. I was thinking of getting them redrilled to save messing with adapters :)

21 might need a bit of stretch n the front but they should fit what width are they?

Iv had it priced uo to re-drill wheels of G23 a guy of edition i think it was £120 for them pluged welded and then redrilled

RC041's are 7.5" are they not??

Are yours the staggered RC041/042 Alex? If they are, ET41 with 20mm adapters (ET21) will sit very well all round.

Front - ET21 on 7.5" will be pretty much flush with arch going by my calculations.
Rear - ET21 on 8.5" will sit exactly the same as mine (ET15 on 8") which is a nice amount of poke.

With a little bit of work you can run wide wheels/ low offsets,
Mine is rather low and I'm running 7.5 wide et9 up front.
Look up Moors' Red Polo on ED38, ridiculously low, 16x8, et-5 ;)
