Since it's dangling underneath my car...

Seems to be coming from something to do with the battery but not sure what it is or where it goes? It's red if that helps. What is it for?

i've got one too, can't see where it goes. I've taped it up and tucked it away. don't think it's used.

if it's the same as a valver it will be the plug for the accessory oil pressure sender

Same thing, have a brown one on the cordy and had a red one on the Gti
