Whats this pipe and what's it for... ANOTHER PIPE FOUND

Hi guys. Can anyone tell me what this pipe and what it's for!?
It's a amk engine.

It's loosing air when I pressure tested the system.

Up close. It's the one with out the clamp as I took it off to get a clip the same size.

Could this be my boost leak!?

this is the brake booster hose, if its leaking then this will cause a boost leak.

alot of the standard hoses seem to fail so yes pretty common.

Ok, so new jubilee clip fitted. Took it for a drive and wwwoooooooooossshhhh... so still have a leak.
Started have a look again and testing the old school way (blowing into hose at hard pipe lol)
found a small split (maybe 1cm long)
but surely this isnt enough?? its quite a loud leak

I can't see the pictures atm but that surely is enough. I noticed what sounded a loud leak on mine and it was slightly dislodged.
