whats wrong with my window

my window was halfway down but when i went to put it up it fell into the door. i can hear the motor going when i press the button but nothing..... what could be the problem ??

well it may be helpfull to know which door
but if it's a mk 4 ibiza either ththe wire has broken or the plastic clips which cannot be bought on their own I should remove the door card and take a look should be obvious replacement kit is approx£70

driver window and its on a toledo 00. ive taken the door trim off and the black metal car cover and to what i can see is that the cable has gone. anyone know if this is a easy fix and how much im looking at to fix it ??
