Ive had the car a few months now but i'm still yet to find the perfect driving position.

Do you recline the seat back at a certain angle and do you stretch for the steering wheel? hmm:D

I have the seat right back and down as I'm quite tall (6'2") but sit fairly upright (compared to some drivers I have seen!) I actually find it very comfortable driving position considering its only a small car!

If I'm driving hard I tend to move the seat forward slightly and steering wheel right out. So I have complete control over the car and it's controls. Otherwise I've got a slight lean :)
The position is your own choice tho we can't really recommend the best as we don't know anything about you :)

Being 4ft 11ish. My driving postition is pretty much as high as the height adjustable seat will take me. Lol.
You need to remember that driving postion is really a personal preference.

I normally set myself up by making sure I can fully depress the clutch comfortably, and then adjusting the height so I can see comfortably over the wheel (for anyone my height you could never see any of the bonnet). Seat rake is then a question of what suits my back and without over-extending my arms to reach the steering wheel.

Remember you don't want to be too close to the steering wheel, as even worse things happen in the worst case situation and the airbag deploys to close to you. "Degloving", and as an Auto-Design student who has studied these things as part of her course, you really don't want that.

generally if you have to lean forward to put your wrist on top of the wheel its normally considered to far back, personally, i like Mike am tall (6ft 3") so i have the seat back slightly angled down, pumped all the way to the floor and the wheel out most of the way and as high as i can get it, i like to sit under the wheel as i feel more in control.

Yup. And before I had the Ibiza, my ancient family-inherited standard Corsa (Clifford) I had a non-height adjustable driving seat, you should have seen me dissapear when I got into that. I was tempted to see how many people I could scare by have a mate follow me hanging out the windows with a remote control box.

lol according to google if you were one inch shorter you would be classed as a dwarf :p

Personnally, My seat is all all in the back, except from the back part, nice angle (like 90° with the seating). I like this position, and it help because my back is sensitive!

I hate how how the seat is (even at lowest setting), all cos of the bloody storage box. Can't wait to change the seats so I can sit in the car instead of on top of it!
