@Sartuzi; be aware that increasing the tyre sidewall height will result in a speedometer reading error. According to the tyre size change calculator at the link below, with 245/45 R19 tyres your speedo will under-read by around 4% compared to the factory fit 245/40 R19 tyres, so when your speedo is indicating 100 kph, your actual speed will be 104 kph. It would be worth checking in your country (Lithuania?) whether or not there are any legal implications of having a speedometer that over-reads or under-reads the true speed being travelled.

Just priced up a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for our VZ3 310 over £300 a corner! ? for the standard 245/40/19

I’ve seen this discussed on various forums before. Seems there isn’t a standard approach applied by all insurance companies to something such as fitting slightly sized tyres to those originally fitted by the vehicle manufacturer when the car was built.
Most (all?) car insurance policies will include a clause that requires the insurance company to be notified of any modification(s) to the vehicle. Usually there’ll be a definition in the policy of what the insurance company means by a ‘modification’; often - but not always - something along the lines of ‘any change to the original factory spec of the vehicle’.
The only way to know for certain if your insurance company would need to know is to ask them. I would ask before buying the tyres and getting them fitted in case they have any issues with changing the tyre size. Because of the very small size difference I personally doubt they would, and by telling them, you’re not giving them a reason to wriggle out of dealing with / paying a claim for non-disclosure of the tyre size change if you’re unfortunate enough to need to claim on your policy in future.

@Wyld Stallyn - if they don’t have to be Michelin PS4S there are other premium brand performance tyres from Michelin, Goodyear and Continental in 245/40 R19 size in the £150 - £200 per tyre price range (fitted) from the likes of Asda Tyres and Black Circles. Black Circles also currently have a money off promotion on certain tyres.
The PS4S has been my weapon of choice (since the retirement of the Pilot Super Sport).
When fitted to out old RCZ200 the PS4S gripped like indignant limpets when warmed up and worked ok once the temperature reached double digits.
Not so good in the coldest conditions but you adjust your driving for that.
Having said that I've just given Betty (our drop top Mustang) a new set of Eagle Asymetric 6's

If so, I firmly believe that there is more grip, feel and confidence to be found out there...
On my vz2, the 5s were OE supplied. Replaced with 6, and it's miles better in every regard.
Good to know ?, must check to see if mine are on 5's, 6's or a combo of the two... ?
