I had to have 10mm per wheel spaces fitted on to the front wheels, as the new brakes I fitted were too big for the wheels.
I dont take them off no, as the wheels wouldnt fit! I don't take it to Seat for servicing anyway.

Cheers for that, your arches look well filled, definatly gonna get mine done, gonna wait till after first service in about 6 weeks. Will post a pic of mine when i've washed it and worked out how to post pics
if your going to lower it and have spacers, you need to cut a bit off inside the wheel arch. There is a bolt and some plastic holding the arch liner onto the wing. This may rub on certain situations, so its best to cut this off. have a feel under the highest part of the wheel arch and you will see.
Fitted some H&R 10mm (each side) tonight and the only problem I can see if that they are not the same size as the hub, so you can see a dip where the spacers are!
Just happy to finally get them after almost 3 weeks of being messed about!
