i was at the traffic lights yesterday and a a boy racer next to me so i turned ESP off and tried to pull off fast but i pulled off like a lada and smelt i'm not sure whether it was clutch slipping or wot any help please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you were riding the clutch bad, put your car in 4th at 30 then floor it if its fine no slipping you need to practice your standing starts, get it into 2nd more or less straight away let the turbo torque get you out of there.
Mine torque steers like a biatch if I nail it from the lights dont do it to oftern missis keeps reminding me I've grown up from that

I tried a couple of full bore launches the other day next thing I know the clutch was burning and I had virtually no drive, so it doesn't take much, seems alright now though.

Mine overheated at Santa Pod a couple of weeks back, only took about 4 runs to kill it. No drive at all until it had cooled down again.
