wheres the engine code

as it says where is the engine code on the diesel engines , i know where it is on a petrol but cant find it on my mates diesel

Best place to find it is actually on the printed sticker on the boot floor or on the log book.

should also be on a bar code sticker on top of the timing belt cover

sayingthat they are under the engine cover (lift it up a bit) and they get mucky and when people wipe em off it wipes the ink off too
