Which Battery?

Hi

Need some help to choose which battery to go for, my car is a 57 Leon Cupra Mk2 im after one that will be fine even if i dont drive the car for a few days even in this cold weather.

I was looking at this one but i dont really have any clues on batterys so any help will be good

That's a good battery, but do not buy it from Halfords, that's an extortionate price.

Halfords stick their own part numbers on Bosch batteries, the proper Bosch part no for that battery is S5005. If you Google that you'll see just how much Halfords are ripping people off.

I work in a motor factors and know the cost price of that battery, Halfords can probably get it cheaper again buying the quantities they do, it's ridiculous what the are chariging!

Also running one of these in my Cupra with no issues. 5 year warranty. Free delivery and cheaper than what I paid in the store (local firm) last year.

Always had Varta batteries in car or bike and never let me down or had to use the warranty.

I think you'll find Bosch batteries are re-badged Varta anyhow.
