Hi guys, as per title I am looking for a good rubber boot liner with rim for my upcoming Cupra ST 2018 and want to get the one that is the best price/performance ratio. I will be doing a lot of Skiing next year so I really need something that will protect my new baby from snow and muck.

I have seen a few sites such as:

Roofbox https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel3.php?emulate=carbox&query=8160

Carmats4u https://www.carmats4u.com/tailored-...t-leon-boot-liners/seat-leon-boot-liners.html

The carbox is at the higher pricepoint but looks like it gets good feedback https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/[email protected],ob7MN2rIJQ09W

Any recommendations please? I live outside of the UK so ideally it needs to be somewhere that ships internationally. :)

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure Seat has it's own brand of boot liner and rod rack. Maybe check them first??

Got the Carmats one for SWMBO's ST.
It does the job, fits pretty well and has a carpet insert that the dog likes.
How longwill it last, who knows? But it's cheap enough.

I got a rubber liner off eBay for my ST. I didn't expect too much but it's a really good fit and sturdy enough. You can't really go far wrong with a liner so I couldn't spend more than I did.

Seat one is really good, BUT only fits with the boot floor in the raised position.

Yeah the one I got is for boot floor lowered. That's mostly how I have it, and if you're trying to protect the boot is it not while you're lugging loads of stuff around?

Beware the cheap rubber boot liners.
I bought some cheaper rubber mats for the wife's Ibiza but binned them after a week or two because of the extreme rubber smell.
So they were replaced by genuine Seat one which are fine.

The 2nd link is like mine, great fit, but it has no real grip, so stuff slides around really easily. I’m looking for another now that is a lot more grippy.

Well I would say that many people boot set higher for easier loading of stuff over the lip, also better on your back. However I would also likely buy for the lower position as it would be mainly ski stuff etc.

This is the liner I went for. Good fit, decent grip and it doesn't smell(!)
Thanks for the link! :)

Nice, but on the very pricy side and also looks like it's a bit of a hassle to set up and take out and clean at short notice vs a more simple lipped tray.
I just leave mine in there, because it's black you don't notice it.. I have been asked if it came like that because it fits so well. You are right you don't want to take it in and out all the time.

Hmm good point chap, it would be hard to see in black. Two questions though:

1) What happens when you flip the seats down, I assume you have to take it off first and that it doesn't fold down with them?
2) I guess the ski hole cannot be used simultaneously?

EDIT - Ok ignore these questions I see you can get them with seat split and boot flap! Intriguing... :)

Yes expensive but hand made and great quality.. to such an extent all the old ones I had sold for over 50 quid on eBay.. my other half had a bright pink on for her rav 4 that sold for 70.. so you get some of the cost back... might not be for all but I wouldnt buy anything else now... when you come to sell your car with an immaculate boot you will recoup the cost! P.s. I am not linked to them in any way!
