Yes Phil.

Seems the tops have the vote. Mofo's :)

I'll see what they're like when they turn up. They would look good on a black car for that stealth look. Maybe I'll respray the car :p

was watching the auction end as was thinking if they were cheap enough to buy to sell on myself but went above what i was hoping for ..

wouldnt think you would have any problems at all in getting your money back if you decided against them on your colour car

TBF I don't think the pic does them justice if they are done as well as the guys other ones for sale. Here is a pic of the R32/GTI ones using the same coating.

Not trying to convince myself honest lol, if they are **** then they'll simply go back onto ebay :)

They just look like the bloke who made them ran out of paint near the top of the lights. At least the top ones look like the were meant to be that way.

I just got a set of the fully smoked ones today, have to say they look better in person than in the photos, I much prefer them to the 2-tone ones ... that's why mine went in the for sale section!!!

The coated finish on them is perfect, better than my last set, top notch! ;)

and that's why I just bought Robs others lol.

I now have both sets mwaahahaha I might fit one to each side for a laugh :fool:

I now have one set fitted to each side and tbh I'm still in favour of the smoked set. In the pic they look real dark but in the sunlight they do not really stop the indicator and stop lights being seen. Obviously a little more than the right set but still not bad. I'm going to have a little look when it's dark tonight and retest them. I will then fit tomorrow the other side, to whichever set I choose.

As for the quality issues people have mentioned and I'm sure Rob has vouched for this. The dark smoked set I think has a better finish than the 'Lightkings' set although both are very good.

A set will soon be available for sale :)
