thought it would be cool to see what the majority of people use and why, ive tried to include as many of the most popular ones i could think of at the moment, if theres one ive missed then please let me know! if you dont have a remap but have a favourite you'll be considering getting soon then vote for it!

Running P-Torque ... had it a few weeks now and well impressed with it ... very smooth power delivery and up from 177bhp and 180lb/ft to 215bhp and 250lb/ft ... very noticeable when you drive it and guaranteed to put a smile on the face :cartman:

My write-up on the map here

ive had 2 remaps from jabbasport. stage 2 and BT.

stage 2 242bhp and 237lbs/ft.(including dp and sports cat) no problems. car felt very quick

BT remap 320bhp and 320lbs/ft. excellent map! has a manually operated controller which reduces mainly torque for poor conditions or handy for the first 2 gears when after quick starts. very quick and drivable custom map[B)]

thinking of stage 2 with dp and sports cat, did you notice a huge difference over stage one mate?

will i need cat back also?

got a milltek dp and sports cat now with standard cat back?

sorry james never had stage one. did the exhaust and remap at the same time.

your set up should be ok, its the wider dp/cat that makes the difference afaik:)

any ideas what the standard bore for the oem cat cack is?
the milltek is 2.5" i think, so what type of reducer is neededd to make it fit?

I went for Custom Code based on the reviews about the power curve.

The map has a smooth delivery of power / torque across the rev range.

I didn't want the power spike that other offer!

I went for the p-torque map based on great reviews from others and was more impressed than I expected to be.

Great linear smooth map with no flat spots....feels like a standard OEM map but with more go...feels like you're in a gear lower than you actually are.....

(oh and for 200 and something quid in a group buy GREAT value for money)

Can't fault it!

You didn't say whether you were interested in all maps or those specifically for petrol models.

So, I had a P-Torque map for my 1.9 TDI and was mightily impressed with the change. As Andy3004 says, for 250 squid I can't think of a better way to get more fun per pound into your car.

Owen Developments rolling road has it at 220 bhp and 304 lbft, the VAG_COM logging puts it at 214bhp and 301lbft. I've upped the clutch to a Sachs organic one and now it just the tyres that give way first.

It's so much more enjoyable now - seeing REALLY expensive cars being left far, far, behind (albeit in a thin cloud of diesel smoke).

BSR in Sweden FTW. Will put it on a kinda dyno soon: They take the wheels off and bolt some device onto the axle housing, or whatever its called.

i know im a ibiza but the P Torque map i have is awsome, nice smooth power delivery and hug gains in torque and power with no loss in MPG.

I've got a stage 1 P-Torque on my mk4 Ibiza Cupra.

Its a nice smooth and strong map and Will is a very helpfull guy.

P-Torque

Had two P-Torque maps, the generic one which i picked for the Price and smoothness of the map. When i had the Piper system fitted, i had a custom map suited to me - i had some of the aggressiveness of first and second taken away as it had developed a liking for dragster style tyre warming burnout's at junctions. Custom map is soooooo smooth.
