which shocks?? advice please

hi guys i am looking at replacing my front shockers,

i currently have eibach lowering springs with standard shocks which to be honest were probably fecked when i put the springs on but at the time i wasn't in a position to stump up my extremely hard earned cash.

was thinking of something pretty close to standard as i have a few speed humps round my end and don't fancy whiplash whenever i go over them

any advice/recomendations greatly appreciated.

car is 54 leon cupra tdi

How about the Bilstein B4 Sports, basically shorteded gas versions of your standard dampers.

with them being shortened will it lower the car any more than it already is?

No they'll just match the length of the Eibach springs better and also work together better.

sounds good, was just about to order and noticed that you list the same kit for all models of the leon from 1.4 to 1.9 deisel, will this kit support my model, 1.9 cupra tdi?

only asking because when i first fitted coilovers a couple of years ago i was sold a kit which listed for all models and although the kit did fit it wasn't up to the job because of the weight difference of the deisel engine compared to a petrol engine.

Yes it'll fit. The springs are mainly what control the weight so as long as you have the correct springs for your car you'll be fine with these dampers.

Very similar really, basically just a slightly up rated gas version of the standard dampers.
