Whirring noise...water pump failure?

Hi all

Great day for a drive or what! Except today I managed to KIA my water pump! Does anyone know the code for it or its proper name so I can order one, it sits right behind the driver side headlight, it sounds like hell under my bonnet, people were looking over worryingly it sounds that bad!

Dont presume I know what I am talking about either, can someone either confirm or deny that the part I am referring too is the water pump?

you mean the secondary water pump - cylinder shaped thing -

search for that with regards to prices and part number if you feel it needs replacing

Can anyone tell me the code for this "aux pump" as it doesn't state to much on the GSF site or euro carparts?

Ok quick update, I put some coolant in and it is infact leaking! It is the pipe that runs underneath the radiator, it comes from the block and goes along the radiator base, does anyone know what it is called?
